FAQ

  • Are you a licensed therapist?

Yes! I’m fully independently licensed in North Carolina (LCMHC #16428) & Mississippi (LPC #3407). My NPI# is 1477814994.

Our industry expects the country-wide adoption of a counseling compact in 2026. Once active, I will be accepting clients from most states in the US.

  • What will therapy with you be like?

I strive to bring authenticity to my work. I tend to be direct, casual and often utilize humor during sessions. My main goal is to make you feel comfortable and understood. I try my best to support vulnerability and accountability at all times.

  • Do you accept insurance?

I do not accept insurance for any services at this time.

Operating outside of the limits of insurances allows me to provide optimized and attentive care to the people I work with. It also guarantees flexibility and confidentiality.

  • How much does it cost?

We start with a free, 15-minute introduction call.

Once you decide to move forward, session prices are as follows:

    Couples Counseling (50 mins) - $165

    Couples Counseling (90 mins) - $265

    Individual Counseling (50 mins) - $145

    Individual Counseling (90 mins) - $245

In general, 50-minute sessions will suit most clients. 90-minute sessions are available for complex issues or if you prefer and extended session.

  • How can we pay?

I accept all major credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover). Payments can be made online through a secure payment portal.

  • Where is your office?

    All sessions are 100% virtual.

You can join from the comfort of your home or another private space where you feel at ease. You must be physically present anywhere in NC & MS during all sessions.

I use a secure and HIPAA compliant video chat portal. Phone sessions are also available by request.

  • How long does therapy take?

Most people work with me for 8–12 sessions, depending on their goals and the complexity of their concerns. Some see meaningful improvement in just a few sessions, while others choose to continue longer for deeper work. We’ll decide together what timeline fits your needs.

  • Will you take one of our sides in couples counseling?

Not at all! My job is to support both of you equally. I help you each share what’s on your mind, understand each other’s perspective, and work together toward solutions. I’m not here to take sides—I’m here to help your relationship feel stronger and more connected.

  • Can my partner and I join sessions from separate places?

Yes! You will each receive a link to log onto a secure video chat prior to our sessions. You do not have to physically be together to log on.
